Mini Update

There's my regular website at www.sheenabobeena84.com and my new website at http://sheenabobeena84.webs.com I'm thinking about moving all of the content from my regular website to my newer one so it's all on one page. I'm proud of the amount I've added to my new website and have tons more things in mind to put there.

My other news is that I get my child support money all at once and that time of the year is soon. It's a little over $6,000 and I have plans for this money. It's the Alameda County property Tax Auction and in case you don't know what that is I'll explain.

So... without further babble if you can focus all your positive energy to me I'd appreciate it. I really need this to work out. Thank you!

FYI, Owen and I got back together but we seem to go back and forth on this so I'm not planning to keep my LJ up to date on it.

Update

Well my boyfriend broke up with me the day before new years but it was mutual, a long time coming and we're still friends. I got to see my best friend a few times this last week after not seeing him for something between 5 to 8 years (we disagreed on that). He moved across the country. FYI I'm talking about Mike Zumstein in case you all might know him. He looks completely different than I remember him back in the day. I just love that dude. My oldest two kids whet with my parents on their wedding anniversary to south Lake Tahoe. They got to see snow for the first time. My parents claim to have a lot more respect for me concerning what I have to do to take care of my kids. They came back with a lot of stories. The break from my kids was nice but I'm happy to have them back.

Oh, and big news! Well at least it is for me, though I'm sure no one else cares... I weigh 100lbs!

Explanation: I'm sure most people would agree that less than 100lbs is just too light. Anorexic women on talk shows that puke up all their food and look like skin and bones are usually 85-95 lbs. I've always been naturally thin and light and my natural weight has always been 100-110 lbs but after having three kids I dropped down to 92lbs. I think that's ridiculous and my goal was to never drop bellow 100lbs. After trying for two years and stressing weather I could ever do it, I discovered yesterday that I weigh 100lbs. Woo hoo! Now I just have to make sure I keep my weight up so it doesn't drop anymore.

Zombie Haiku

A friend of mine sent me this and I can think of some people on here who might enjoy it.

Zombie Haiku by Dylan Thomas
Do not go gentle
into that zombie plagued night.
And take the shotgun.

Zombie Haiku by Silvia Plath
From head to black shoe,
daddy, I had to eat you
because I’m starving.

Zombie Haiku by Robert Frost
Two lobes in the skull.
I eat the bloodier one –
not much difference.

Zombie Haiku by e.e. cummings
if anyone lived
in this wretched how town (they)
would be soon eaten.

Zombie Haiku by Emily Dickinson
I heard a fly buzz
when I became a zombie.
That was one loud bug.

Zombie Haiku by Walt Whitman
Every skin atom
form’d from this soil, this air,
tastes like chicken meat.

Zombie Haiku by William Shakespeare
To bite through the skull
or beat it against the wall?
That is the question.

Zombie Haiku by Edgar Allen Poe
Beside of the sea
I killed my Annabel Lee
because zombies do that.

Zombie Haiku by Theodore Roethke
I knew a woman,
piled up once I ate her,
lovely in her bones.

Prototype This, Get up and Go

I just watched this show called "Prototype This" and it was so funny. They were trying to invent a machine that did everything for you in the morning like shower you, feed you, brush your teeth, etc... They called it the "Get up and go" and as I'm sure you can imagine it was just hilarious.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a Boyfriend!

Owen asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes! Well... it kind of happened like that. Our first date was last Wednesday and we got together on Friday which was September 19th. On our first date we meant to go to Star Anise which is a fancy, semi new Thai restaurant downtown. We couldn't find it and gave up but I have since then found it so we're going to give it another go tomorrow night before we rock climb with our friends. I'm still so nervous around him that I can't even get myself to hold his hand. I'm never this nervous with guys it's just that I know Owen pretty well (he's been my best friend for about half a year) and something about that makes this whole thing really weird. He's being really shy too but I'm sure we'll get over it.

Sheena Update

Lots of new stuff going on in my world and here it all is:

-My old friend Jerame (a.k.a. Shithead from the Knoll or DragonBytes) is going to be my roomy in about 2 to 3 months.

-My friend Rebecca is going to have a baby very soon.

-One of my two best friends (Owen) has (finally) asked me out on a date and we've decided we like it and we're going to date more.

-I might start rock climbing starting next week.

-Some relatives of mine have been very persistent that my oldest son has speech problems. I've took him to a screening on Monday with a speech therapist and it turns out he's completely fine.

Obama's Democratic Nomination Acceptance speech

I watched Obama's democratic nomination acceptance speech last night. I follow politics generally rather than hard core or not at. I don't usually watch candidate speeches and debates... I just read the highlights online latter on.

The entire speech was so moving from beginning to end. There were, litterally, times when I cried. I've gone from thinking that this is a more important time than most to have a democratic president to thinking that Barak Obama (if voted into office) will be one of the most influential presidents in history. His speech was truly up there with the speeches of JFK and MLK.

OK Cupid blog

This is my first post here on Live Jounal. I don't quite know what I'm supposed to post so if I got it wrong you now no why. I have a blog in my OK cupid account and I'm tranfering them here. OK Cupid is a dating website that has an option where you can answer questions to be better set up with people compatable with you. Just answering the questions and being evalutated is fun for me so that most of what I'm on the site for. My blogs from that site are in referance to some of thier questions.

1)

Q: If you found out that someone you were interested in has several other people interested in them too, how would this affect your behavior?
  • I'd work harder to attract them.
  • I'd be less likely to try with them.
  • It would not affect my behavior.
Me: What's more important than how others feel about them is how they feel about me. I'm more liklly to like someone if they like me and less likelly to like them if they don't like me.

2)

Q: Are you the person you want to be?
  • Yes.
  • No.
Me: I like who I am. Every bad thing in my life, wether it was something I did or something that happened to me, helped me to grow into a better person. I try to remind myself of that every time I start to regret my mistakes or feel sorry for myself (dosen't always work, but I still try).

Everybody changes everyday. Even if they don't realise or like it. If you're not paying attention to how you change and other people are, they can have a bigger affect on the way you change than you have. If they don't have your best interest in mind it can be bad for you. Most of the time other people aren't thinking about YOU that much but it's good to realise yourself and take control over the way you change rather than leaving it up to chance.

I have lists of goals of various priority to me concerning how I'd like to be and things I'd like to do. I try to recognise my faults for what they are and improve them where I can. At the same time, I love myself for all that I am including all my faults.

3)

Q: Art Crimes such as grafitti and other public visual expressions are..
  • Unacceptable and should remain crimes
  • Art and the artists should not be punished
  • I don't really care
Me: I love grafitti. I find it to be a beautiful expression of art.

But to just decide that it's ok to use your art to violate other peoples property is not ok. It's not right to thoughs people and thier rights need to be protected.

I think there should be places where grafitti artists are encouraged to express themselves in a way that dosen't violate others property. I like how skate parks premote the art. Perhaps the government should hire them to grafitti public structures.

4)

Q: Do you think it is important to verbally ask a partner's permission each time before physically touching them?
  • Yes.
  • No.
Me: Wow, that sounds like a good idea and a bad idea. I think it's important for sexual interaction to be consensual (how would you feel if someone forced themself on you in ways you didn't want them to). On the other hand, it might become really tedious to have to ask with everything all the time. For the most part in relationships it's obvious what the other person is comfortable with. For everything else, ask or bring it up for discussion. The most difficult will be when you're not yet in a relationship. You're not yet sure how the other person feels about you or what they do or don't like. You're to unfamilliar to discuss it. (That sentance sounds wierd, like it's incomplete. I don't know how to word it better) So in that situation... I don't know.

5)

Q: Should harmful tobacco products be outlawed?
  • Yes.
  • No.
Me: Well I ocationally smoke. Not enough for smokers to concider me a smoker but enough that people biast against smokers are biast against me. I don't focas all that much on it. I'd rather I not smoke because it's bad for my health and the benifits (habbit, comfort, ect.) only exsist due to my personal weaknesses. I'm addicted enough that I probablly downplay the disadvantages in my mind and don't focas that much on quitting.

This is why I'd suffer if it were made illegal. On the other hand, if it were illegal there's a good chance I wouldn't be addicted now. I think in that situation it would be easier not to start in the first place than to quit latter on. In general I think it would be better for future generations.

Then again, it might be stigmatized like weed. Then the fewer number of people who do it would be stigmatized as a criminal or "bad" (more so than now) when the crime isin't really bad on that level. We'd be making criminals for such a petty crime.

www.sheenabobeena84.com

I made a website. It's not my first but it may be my first to be developed rather than forgotten soon after creation. It's not much. It just says who I am and what I'm interested in. Check it out and tell me what you think.

I think I want to make another one that is compsed of a breakdown of my philosaphies and beliefs.
